I am about to meet with my doctor on Direct Health. Why is there a pending charge on my credit card?
The next time you meet with your doctor on Direct Health, we may place a temporary hold equal to your provider’s consultation rate on your credit or debit card on file. The hold will be released once your consultation has ended (or when 48 hours have passed, whichever happens first). You will be charged only for the agreed upon consultation rate. This helps prevent payment issues between you and your provider. If your provider’s rate is set to $0, you should not see a hold.
