Importing Your Patients

We’re excited to announce that Direct Health is leveraging platform integration with some of the most popular Electronic Health Records! This will give you the power to invite your patients to Direct Health with just a few simple taps.

Currently, Direct Health allows you to automatically import patients from the following featured EHRs:

What happens when I select my EHR?

If your EHR is a featured EHR you will be able to enter your login and password information to securely start the import process. Our developers have worked with these EHR companies specifically to provide the most seamless, integrated experience possible. If your EHR is not featured, that’s ok! You’ll be emailed a secure link with a set of instructions to upload your patient list to us.

How long does this take?

For featured EHRs, the actual login process takes a few seconds. For us to import all of your patients, it can take anywhere from one to three days, depending on how many records there are to process. If your EHR is not a featured EHR, we can begin the process of applying your patients to your account as soon as you upload your patient list.

What happens when my patients are imported?

Patients will receive a text message at the phone number provided on their account. This text will invite them to download and install the Direct Health application for patients, which will allow them to automatically connect with you. By using the invitation they receive, you will be added to their Care Team upon signup.

My EHR isn’t listed. What do I do?

If you don’t see your EHR on this list, don’t fret! We can still invite all of your patients to Direct Health. We simply require a patient export which can be obtained by following the instructions that are sent securely to your email. We’ll apply your patient list to your account usually within one to three days.
